The “In the News” page update was one of my favorite transformations. The existing page was managed by adding links onto a page. It didn’t have much visual appeal and was a lot to look at.
My solution was to create a custom post type for the news stories that Groups360 wanted to post. This way it was easy to manage the information, all they would need to do is add a title, a link, and an image. Upon clicking the news story, it takes the user to the external site where the story originated. I wanted the page to be laid out similar to their blog so that there would be some visual appeal to the stories.
